• Research Title: “Humans vs Generative AI Tools: Analyzing English Literature in an AI-Driven World”
• Held at Colegio San Agustin-Makati in April 2024.
• Objective: To analyze and compare the methodology of Generative AI Tools in analyzing English literature to humans.
• Key Idea: In analyzing literature, readers often draw on their own personal experiences and emotions to understand the details of the text.
• Collaborated with a group of six STEM students in analyzing the behavior of AI interpreting English literature.
o Provided an overview of the current issues of AI in the context of forming its responses to prompts given by the user.
o Formed a questionnaire on “The Story of an Hour” by Kate Chopin for both the AI and the human participants to answer.
o Conducted a content analysis of both human and AI responses using Orange Data Mining.
o Provided an in-depth discussion of the data gathered from the responses collected.
